"I absolutely loved this place! The history, the antique décor and it's totally haunted. I had a personal experience though in an empath so you may not (not too scary) in room 308 and I also heard 329 Is great way to meet a ghost... If you believe. There are a lot of great souvenirs that you can purchase in the lobby/front desk area And you get free entry into the Fort Harrison state park when you stay here. There's also a nearby very old cemetery to explore which we loved!"
"I like the hotel alot despite the bed being hard as a rock and the room I was in was a bit run down and dusty. Didn't wake up early enough to get the breakfast. It was winter and freezing cold but did enjoy driving around the state park. Would come back!"
"I had the pleasure of going on a walk with my newly discovered DNA 2x cousin, and it felt like a magical journey. The bond we were building made everything seem more lovely, especially as we explored the charming cabin and wandered through the enchanting halls of this beautiful hotel. Nearby, there was a quaint gift shop, a reminder of the warmth and uniqueness of family, all of this just moments away from my oldest or second oldest first cousin. It was a special reminder of the importance of family bonds."
"This is our 4th time staying here and we still love it. A beautiful building in what seems like a secluded location but which is actually close to shops and dining. The rooms are excellent, very comfortable and well-appointed, especially for the price. The staff are very helpful and courteous. I was a little disappointed in the lobby breakfast this time, which is adequate but doesn't seem to have the variety it once had. The park restaurant is about a block away from the hotel and is open for lunch. It's very good, if a tad bit expensive."
"Nice quiet hotel. Big enough bedroom space & very large bathroom. Feels home-y with all of the furniture (more typical of what you would see at home than a hotel). Only issue was that they need to clean the mold from in the shower door cracks, etc. Very simple thing that they're ignoring."
