"Today was my first visit, and I really didn't know what I was getting myself into, except experiencing something new. The staff and the instructor were very friendly and informative. "The open court system at Pickle Time has as much structure as silly putty. You pay a flat rate to get in, but end up being asked/told to share the court with others as they walk in. Even if you get there early in the morning. Whether if it’s being paired with two players to play duos. Or giving up your court entirely for fresh walk-ins. They tend to ask “inexperienced” players first to share the court. The “experienced regulars” seem to be immune to this. The “first come, first serve” policy is nonexistent. And if you’re looked at as “inexperienced”, you will be asked/told to use the fourth court, which has a decent dip in the middle of the floor and is right up against a wall. I have yet to have a smooth experience here, and really hope things change."

"Favorite place to play, especially in the winter. Larry and Jen (the owners) are really present and have created a friendly culture where it’s easy to learn and improve. Every single staff member I’ve encountered has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Maddy, Nancy, and Jen are the staff I see the most and they’re great! The leagues are run really well, I’ve found they’re great exercise and a good way to meet people."
