"Mobile public schools are purposefully failing children to qualify for federal money."

"There are some great teachers, but the bureaucracy gets in the way. Common core has made my children that were able to read simple words and add before they could start school, to where they struggle and make horrible grades in all subjects. The whole idea of uniforms are a joke, it hasn't cut down on bullying (I witnessed that first hand growing up in this school system), its just as expensive, if not more for uniforms instead at just having a dress code. My children's schools care more about uniforms and so many standardized tests than they do about bullying, or the horrible lunch menus, or even if the children actually learn, and don't get me started on the constant fundraising. It seems like every week the schools are five dollar-ing me to death. As long as the children can remember something long enough for the standardized test. Also the school schedule is crazy! Why not keep the summer longer? All the constant breaks make my children ask, why do they have to go to school because there's going to be another break in a week. They also have to keep doing reviews of work learned after every break because the kids don't retain any knowledge . The children do better with routine, and with so many breaks they can't stay in a routine. It's also really hot down here during the summer so, why start school so early so they sweating to death with risk of heatstroke on the busses. Pushing the back to school date back to September, would at least help a little. It would be nice to be able to go on a vacation, but the summers are never long enough! If I could afford it, I would much rather send my children to private school!! !!"
