Deep Blue Indoor Play

"We took our 7½ and 9 year old last night (Feb 24th) to play at deep blue for her birthday trip. (We did not have a party there just took our 2 kids on an outing) we arrived about 5pm and they went straight to the climbing section and was told they only had bracelets left for the last climb at 630 which was 1 ½ hr away. We said ok took them and waited since that literally was the reason she wanted to go there was to climb. Finally their time was ready and the workers had forgot to set the clock for the group before them and that group ended up going an extra 10 min. Which was fine, until we realized our 2 would not be making up their 10 min loss, so they got a shortened time. They had way more bracelets than normal it seemed like in the last group, so too many kids were in line waiting to climb. The employees who where helping them hook and unhook, all but 1, were not doing much to help and move the lines along like they normally do. So not only did they get 10 min less time my 2 waited 1 ½ hr to climb to only be allowed to climb 1 thing!! 1!! We also drove 1 ½ hr from Illinois just to come and climb and after paying $18 a kid to do so we definitely did NOT get $36 worth of climbing.. that is completely unacceptable to only get 1 climb and then be told get out of line time is up. It's not their fault the employees forgot to set the previous timer and they lost 10 min of climbing and then employees who were ready to close up were less than enthusiastic to help all the kids climb. My 9 year old left in tears because of it, she talked about going there all week for her birthday only to get to climb 1 thing. Unacceptable. I'm sure you do not refund but if so one would definitely be warranted. I never leave negative reviews but seeing how this was my 9 year old daughters birthday trip I feel it was needed as the experience ruined her birthday trip she picked. I tried to send a message privately thru the company website but it would not send."

"Love everything about Deep Blue Indoor Play!! The owners go above and beyond in every detail and they are present which sets Deep Blue apart from any other indoor play. It is always clean and well staffed. The monthly and annual memberships are amazing!! Deep Blue is the areas best indoor play!"

"A great place for family fun! The kids had a great time and the staff is wonderful! They all made my kids feel special and appreciated. The manager was visible and active the entire time we were there. It was clean and I noticed staff cleaning and wiping everything thing down frequently. The concession stand was clean and service was excellent. Will definitely be back. Oh and I bought gift cards while there."

"Today we celebrated our daughter's birthday at Deep Blue Indoor Play. The staff confirmed our party details in advance and did a good job going over everything with us days before the party. This was very helpful because we've never been to Deep Blue before. The event went very well and all the kids were happy. Their friendly staff made sure our party room was taken care of and did they did a good job of checking on us throughout the event. The pizzas were very good, and they have a snack bar with reasonable prices. Kids had fun. Adults were happy. The facility is very clean. Highly recommended!"

"Went grand opening day. I think this is a great addition to the city, great for parties. The decor was awesome with lots of slides and a huge climbing area. I can tell the owners made a huge investment. I would love to see annual passes or discount for younger kids. It was harder for my kids (4 and almost 2) to play when busy with the bigger kids. Also, there was a sign that said no adults on the upper levels, but there were a few of us chasing small children around and no one said anything. I understand the reason for the rule, but if it becomes strictly enforced, we won’t be able to come again for a few years. Both kids needed assistance at some point and there’s not enough on the first floor to keep my son occupied. In fact the first thing my 1 yr old did was race to the third level. I also ended up helping a few other kids on the upper levels. With that said, we plan to be back! Great for rainy or cold days and the kids are worn out."
