"Called to book sessions but because I didn’t directly live in Athens they wouldn’t even book or schedule. Don’t waste your time. There’s very few metal help places around and it’s asinine to refuse patients because they don’t live in town directly. I travel farther to work and Walmart then I would have to go to this doctor. Obviously doesn’t truly care about mental health unfortunately."

"I've been going here for almost 6 years now. My counselor is the absolute best. I truly believe they helped save my life! I finally live a great and fulfilled life. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Jeffrey and Shareta. I lost my mother a momth ago unexpected. I'm beyond thankful for the time I've had to grow. 5 years ago I wouldn't have a clue how to handle it."

"My partner went here and it is a horrible, horrible place. I honestly think this might be a scam, it's so poorly run and gives off the worst mental health treatment I have personally seen. The other review is EXACTLY right--when my partner had a severe reaction to a medication the psychiatrist insisted on keeping it a high dose, even UPPING it. Despite talking about the debilitating side effects, he upped them anyway. If he was on the highest dose? Oh, keep that medication, but add another one (with more side effects)! The therapist he saw was absolutely useless. She was nice, sure, but very obviously NOT professionally trained, or if she was, did not retain any of that training. She told my partner to ASK HIS ABUSER WHY SHE ABUSED HIM. Obviously he didn't do so as he would have been placed in danger. She did not do anything a therapist should--did not teach coping mechanisms, or techniques to help ground yourself. If all of this wasn't bad enough they tried to milk money out of him. He makes $0 a year and is trying to get on disability. He cannot pay full price so they promised a sliding scale with a much lower price. Come to find out, his latest bill is several hundreds of dollars!!!! WAY higher than what was agreed and SIGNED ON. They did not tell him he needed to renew his benefits and food stamps to continue getting the discount until the bill came. When he did sign a waiver stating he would pay the amount he owed and he would then pay a lower amount for the rest of the sessions, they STILL kept charging him in FULL. If they do not drop the charges or fix the system this could be a legal dispute. Never, ever, ever go here. You will genuinely be better off without this "help" than you will with it."
