"Went in with middling-to-severe stomach pain about an hour before closing. Dr. Guy asked good questions, explained her thought process in a very helpful way, and prescribed effective medicines. Turned out to be an ulcer, though I appreciated them examining possibilities and doing some blood work just in case. They were able to see me right away and at a much more reasonable price than a hospital. Didn't feel any of the weirdly-common judgment a person can get for being without insurance in a doctor's office, and Dr. Guy even took off the costs of labs, with the assurance that if the lab tries to send me a bill to bring it back to AlphaCare. Directly post-visit, I was able to pick up the medicines I needed and get the issue resolved reasonably quickly, with the understanding that if it worsened in a few particular ways I should go to the ER."
