"I was referred to a dr. In the pulmonology group by my personal physician. He referred me to the one who usually sees patients in Hartselle, since I live in Hartselle, I appreciated that (I thought). He faxed them a referral, and since I didn't hear from them, a week later I began trying to contact them. I would call and be placed on hold for long periods of time. After about a week of that I finally got to talk to a human, who said she'd try to find out what happened to my referral, they'd be in touch. Still no contact. I understand that you don't get to see a Dr. right away, but I really think it's not too much to ask that some staff member who seems at least a little concerned might call and tell you when you might get an appointment. Not being able to breathe, if I do anything at all strenuous, is scary; my wife is more scared than I am. I've used CRMC for years because the level of concern for the patient has seemed very good, this needs to be fixed. ON EDIT My initial review WAS one star with the above comment, I changed it to three stars after going to the Hartselle location this morning and being helped by Christy (I hope spelling is correct), Subject to further change after I see physician, but will be hard to exceed four stars with me due to above experience. Christy herself was worth five stars and this place would have one star without her."
