Farabee Family Dental Care

"I established care with Farabee Family Dental Care today. I have 2 emails stating that my appointment was at 8 am. I arrived at 7:50am and waited until well after 8 am to get checked in. The front desk receptionist was nice stating that the confusion was, my appointment was at 8:50am. It wasn't lol, it was indeed at 8am per all the emails STILL in my email. I was given a student tech, who was left alone to xray me for the greater part of my xray process, I am not exaggerating when I say she re-did several more than once, that is too much and it was upsetting and honestly dangerous, made me start to mistrust this process. They are not upfront about charges NOR do they ask you if you would like things such as to pay for the oral cancer screening and fluoride. I was surprised in a bad way at checkout finding out I owed money, I feel they should have offered the services and let me choose. This is just poor business. Completely lost faith in this process, I feel they are fraudulent and deceiving. They recommended about 7 thousand in work that they state I need. Going back to my original dentist for a 2nd opinion even though my insurance won't pay much there, I need to be able to trust the team and that is NOT an issue there. I changed practices as I changed jobs and insurance, poor life choice on my part. Will not return. I agree with many other posts and I don't grind my teeth or need a night guard. They bombard you with a lot of information to process to say the least. Please shop around and go elsewhere. (After returning to work my coworker found out where I had went and begged me to go get a 2nd opinion versus return to this practice as he had a family member and 3 friends who had bad experiences here at Farabee)"

"I 100% do not recommend Dr. Schroeder at Farabee Family Dental. If possible, I would give 0 stars. They’re not upfront with charges, they don’t understand insurance parameters, and unnecessarily recommended night guards for my husband & myself. Dr. Schroeder is arrogant & has poor bedside manners. The billing department is incompetent and rude. This practice is only interested in up charging you. They do not have your best interests in mind."

"Everyone at Farabee Family Dental was so nice, but more importantly they kept checking to see how I was doing during my procedure. I had questions about some suggested work to be done, and it was explained well and the suggestions were valid."

"As a newcomer to the area this was my 1st visit. Arranging an appointment was painless. Upon arrival Donna at front desk processed my documentation efficiently. Very helpful and courteous. Great 1st impression on the front of office staff and cleanliness of waiting. Appointment on time and Tatum started with the health check with xrays, inspection, cancer screening and onto cleaning. A true professional! I appreciate the explanations and her care for the patient at each step. She was organized and efficient. The dentist was prompt to do his checking and he was courteous and professional. I found a dentist that at all levels met my expectations."
