"This place is great. They changed their hours in January of ‘24. It’s taking Google awhile to catch up, so here’s a picture of the new hours for those that need it."

"Nice gym but the staff is really passive aggressive and not very supportive of a welcoming environment. Just stay clear of the staff and it’s a nice place to workout."

"We have one of the best YMCA’s! Lots of long-term, dedicated staff members and patrons make this a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Facilities offer something for everyone: indoor & outdoor pool; dry sauna; ample group fitness classes w/ lots of variety; indoor track; and well-maintained cardio machines and strength-training equipment. The Bounds Y offers a great value and service to our Daphne community! Body Pump class is my favorite:) Check it out!"

"Members, classes, cardio equipment, instructors, and the front office worker are what make this place worth visiting! But: not much afternoon class variety and all-too-often can’t use membership because there’s no available slots in childcare-the problem is heightened during morning, summertime sessions, even if you try to reserve a spot 24+ hours in advance. Class and childcare times are not for the “9-5” type of worker. Bathrooms, floors (especially in the classrooms), and class equipment are dirty and yoga balls remain deflated. Facility is hot in the afternoon and evening. One of the main classrooms is way too small for the class size and range of movements. Safety and management in the after school care area are subpar, at best; I wouldn’t recommend the program. The price is great, and there aren’t a lot of after school/summer options. But, on multiple occasions, young summer camp kids were being led by teenagers along the busy roads near the Y (one road lacks sidewalks), an after school bus driver drove out of Rockwell with her cell phone in her hand, looking down at it and talking while turning right; another bus driver-the head of after school care-whipped around the corner out of Rockwell at a high speed with a boy standing up in the aisle at the back of the bus. Plus, unsecured exits and inattentive caretakers in the basketball/after school area at the Y. The head of that dept seems to lack the love, happiness, patience and compassion that is expected from someone in her roll."

"I have been a member of the YMCA for over 20 years. It's. good environment and the staff for the most part are friendly. It is clean. My only complaint is the basketball gym. It needs a new floor. the lock together plastic blanks are awful to dribble a basketball on. Also, you don't have access to the basketball gym very often. They have an after school day care program that uses it. The guy that runs the basketball gym is very rude. He told me he was going to kick me out because I was "too loud". BTW, I wasn't. All I did was tell my son "good job" when he made a shot. I was very confused by this guy. Not sure how you can play basketball and be as quiet as a mouse. The equipment in the gym is very good and maintained."
