"I've been coming to this place off and on for and never felt so unwelcome. I walked in at 3:02 and apparently they closed at 3pm. I heard they had bags of Christmas lights for the cheap but when I walk in they said we are closed I said ok but I do have a question and one lady said we are closed again. I said I'll be back tomorrow but I just was wondering if they had bag of Christmas lights. One was like I don't know what you are talking about and I said Christmas tree lights she said yes but you need to come back tomorrow. Maybe I'm be sensitive but I just expect them to be nicer or have a nicer tone. I'm not allowed to be rude like that at my job."
"The store is very nicely set up, items are displayed tastefully. The employees are cheerful, and very helpful. We have purchased three larger items over the past two years. They were delivered to our house for an additional fee. We never had a bad experience at that store. The prices are fair. We enjoy browsing and looking for anything that we would need or enjoy. Thank you All for your diligent efforts to present the items attractively."
"I'm very surprised by the negative reviews. I have been shopping here for at least the last 5 years, probably longer, and I have never had a negative experience. The majority of the staff are volunteers, only a very few of the employees are paid. No one has ever been rude to me... some of the older volunteers do seem a bit grouchy every now and again, but not to the point of what I would call rude. During my last visit I did notice that some of the home décor & furniture items do seem to have gone up in price, but the quality is good and I think it's still reasonable pricing. Their new addition on the building is nice. For anyone who is truly in need and can't afford the prices, all you need to do is ask to speak to someone in charge & if you discuss your situation with them I am sure they would be willing to help."
