"I'll just start from the beginning. I get here and the place is very clean. I've never been so I wasn't sure what to get but the menu is small so it wasn't overwhelming. I ordered a tender meal. It took a few minutes and the manager was bringing my food to me. Everything was fresh and piping hot. The tenders are different from other places. They're amazing. Juicy on the inside, and a nice crisp on the outside. The fries are also different. They come sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and they were pretty good too. I was the only person there so I was able to talk to the manager about the place. He was very friendly and gave me a lot of info on the place . He also let me sample a tender dipped in their spicy oil. My only regret was that I didn't know about it earlier. It was so good. I'll definitely be back."

"First time I ever had City Bird, and it was Door Dash delivery. Ordered the tenders in Spicy Oil, and I'm glad I did as my first experience. The spicy oil adds a kick to it that isn't too strong at first, but builds up over time as you continue to eat. Had I not gotten the spicy oil, I'd have probably thought the tenders were mid at best, but giving them a kick helped save that first impression, so I recommend getting them with the spicy oil. The fries had a good 'taste', but a bad consistency. This could be due to the fact they were soaking in their own fried oils during delivery, but they were all stuck together and kinda chewy in a way I didn't care for. As such, I didn't eat them all, and why I can't really give the whole experience 5 stars. 100% going to order again though, the chicken's more than worth it. I'm reading the watermelon tea is good too, so I got something else to try next time I order."

"Ugh, I so wish I could say this was the best chicken tenders I have had but it definitely falls short. I’m not going to kill this review and give it three stars, it was just okay. Joella’s hot chicken, Zaxby’s, and now Raising Canes, got to be on point…. Also, a little unknown to these pop up franchises is Charleston’s {restaurant} has the best Chicken Tenders I have ever had. Try it and see for yourself. Not a fan of the sauce either. Chicken was moist, flavor was okay. Fries are okay. Coleslaw sucked."

"Spicy chicken sandwich is amazing! Fries are great also. Small menu, but done right. Will definitely be back. Update: went back the next day to verify it's as good as I said, and I stand by my review. Had a different sandwich, can't remember the name, but it was just as good. Try this place!"

"Just got back from a visit to CityBird. The menu is small and the restaurant is small - I counted 19 chairs available. They executed well on the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders have good seasoning and they have a variety of sauces to choose from. I chose the "city sauce" which was a creamy, slightly smoky, savory sauce. I liked it, and I liked the Parmesan & parsley fries. We didn't bring the kids this time, but I don't think the kids meals would be big enough portions for my kids. The tenders are pretty small."
