"If I could, I'd give 4.5 - 4.75 stars for service because the only issue is the very unenthusiastic call out of the customers' orders. The Chicago dog is delicious, and does not require a trip to Chicago. I have never liked chocolate cake, but I LOVE their chocolate cake. Try it. You won't be disappointed!!"
"As a Chicagoland native, this always brings me a little closer to home. Portillo's has been in the area a few years now. I was so happy when they moved to this area. The food is just as good as always. Cheese fries, lemon-aid, and a cheese and cheddar croissant is my usual... but I have tried everything, and it's all good to me, I just have my preferences. You can't go wrong here."
"The best burger I have had at a restaurant in a long, long time. Such a fun atmosphere. Love the signs and pictures all around. Very interesting if you take the time to read what the pictures are of. Great food. Friendly service. Definitely going back."
"Having grown up in the Chicagoland area, found this dining experience reminding me of home in the early 80s. My Chicago Dog was very well made and tasted like home, my dipped roast beef sandwich did the trick on my hunger, it was a nice treat to visit Portillo's"
"Went here for the first time to visit with a friend and their family. It was DELICIOUS! The vibe and ambiance is super fun and energetic. I ordered the regular Italian beef and fries! I had the gravy on the side and it was unbelievable! Had the strawberry shortcake for a sweet treat after and it did not disappoint. Although it was busy in the restaurant, the staff worked hard and were super kind. Went through the drive through after to grab additional food for home. Grabbed a Chicago style hot dog and Chicago combo bowl. Great first visit. Will be back when I am in town again."
