Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Really had an awful experience there. We (I, my wife and 4 years old son) went for a dinner. There was not a lot of people there at that time. My son was trying to run around the restaurant, we stopped him, made him sit with us. When food was served, he slipped away and went to the empty seat behind and started jumping on the seat. We immediately got hold of him and brought him back to the seat. Right at that time the manager of the restaurant came to us, told us to leave if we can't keep him at his seat. We were shocked and could not say a word for 30 seconds. Then my wife told him that we are trying to manage him and he needs to be nice. I also told him the same words. He again repeated that we need to pay and leave, if we can't manage him. I asked him if he has done any damage to the property or had dropped anything at floor or table and made it dirty, he replied no. I told him that i can't leave without finishing my meal, he needs to be nice and leave us. He then told me please sir, i request you not to let him do this. I replied him we are trying our best, if you cant see that having an eye, i feel sorry for you and please stop harassing us like this. The i asked him who is the manager of the restaurant. He replied he is the manager. When the server came with the bill we asked her if he is the manager and she confirmed us he is the manager. I was like how a restaurant like Applebee's keep this kind of ill mannered person as manager."

"My husband,daughter and I went to eat during late night Happy Hour around 9:30 pm. last night. The food was good. The waitress took our order and a lady that delivered the food to the table was pleasant. The waitress even checked on us a few times. Everything was fine until she brought us the check. It was around 10:30 pm Instead of letting me take my time after she gave me my bill, she stood there at the table waiting for me to get my money out. I've never had a waitress wait at my table while I'm getting my money out to pay. It was rude of her to do that. What if I wasn't ready to pay or I may have had to count money instead of a card. I thought she was rude but I still have her a 20 percent tip. Then, as we were leaving another lady working there stood beside our table before I could get up and rudely stood behind me, I could barely get out of the booth she was standing there...before I could slide out and put my jacket on. She was so close it felt intrusive. The feeling of being rushed out after spending $72 was disheartening. I will not be returning to this Applebee's"

"They had a special on boneless wings so that's what I ordered. Not good. Very salty and hard (dried out) They were all you can eat, but didn't finish first order they were so bad. My daughter ordered a Oreo cookie shake and the server said they didn't have Oreo cookie shakes. I asked if they had any different flavors and was sarcastically told, "This is Applebee's, we don't have shakes." I'm including a picture of the menu which clearly shows an Oreo cookie shake."

"Got table right away, was clean inside, service was excellent. We did have to wait a while for food drinks in-between but expected. They got busy and dud the best they could! Carmen was our server he was great! Food was good as well!! I deff recommend the quesadilla burger! The boneless wings were great! The molten lava cake the best part!!"
