Prime 47 Carmel

"Went to celebrate birthday. The decor n vibe was nice but seemed too busy and abit too noisy. The waiters also seemed like they were rushed n had 2 waiters asking us similar questions again and again. The waiter were very helpful n courteous for sure. The food came as a surprise. For such big prices some of the items were not up to par especially the steak 47. Lobster mac n cheese also not good. The ribeye steak was chewy. They were so rushed n busy didn’t even bring back our leftovers at the end. And 2 of us had a stomach upset right after the meal. The free dessert with birthday and a picture framed of your memory there was a great part! Ahi tuna n wagyu beef was the only main dish I would recommend. The calamari and wagyu tacos in starters also recommended"

"An amazing restaurant! It has a romantic, fun, intimate atmosphere. They offer many food options with beautiful presentation. We had our steak cooked right in front of us! And they offer Halal meats. The service was amazing. The staff is willing to accommodate every need."

"Prime 47's atmosphere looks very upscale. The mood is set with candle light, and menus are self lit for easy viewing. Service is timely, although service was a bit flustered with minor details. I tried the wagyu tacos, which were a unique item. It's flavors complimented each other well, with berry and caramelized onions. My French onion soup was decent but not nearly as flavorful as I anticipated. My Oscar style filet was a little overcooked (ordered rare) but still overall good. The mashed potatoes were bland. Overall, it was a decent dining experience that I did not quite see fitting the price. I think I would try other pieces of meat next time if I were to return."

"I had such a good experience here! My waitress was amazing, I wish I remembered her name but she was so nice and approachable. Even in an elevated dining experience I didn’t feel the atmosphere was uptight or pretentious. I did the devour menu and i really enjoyed the jalapeño beer cheese soup with the garlic bread. I could’ve just had a tub of that and been happy! My salmon was cooked perfectly, my only complaint was that it lacked seasoning but the horseradish sauce was really good! My dessert was also perfect and may be my new favorite thing! Just overall a good experience esp when you factor in the live music. Will definitely come back and hopefully next time with a date!"

"Great place to have a date night! Great service, all hostesses, waiters, and staff made sure we were comfortable. The food was great. I always love a good filet! Well cooked, cuts like butter on a medium well 10oz! Pros - Excellent Service - Food top notch - Mash potatoes were amazing - Environment was very welcoming Cons - None! Great place for celebrating or just for a quality night out!"
