"We often go to get some delicious food and a nice milkshake. Great workers and amazing food we will continue to get dinner at least once a week."
"I want to start by saying I'm not blaming the workers for the poor service. There are only two of them during lunch rush, and they're running around with their hair on fire trying to take care of everyone. The new order kiosks seem to have given management an excuse to cut hours, and while only 1/3 of the dining room is occupied and the drive thru is closed, the staff are scrambling to keep up. The food is the same as it ever was, that gets full marks. But the dramatic understaffing and minimal human interaction leave this place feeling soulless. We used to love this place, but now we might not come back because of how much we disapprove of how this restaurant is being managed."
"Went through the drive thru today and received exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was hot and came out fast. I haven’t been to Steak and Shake in a few years and was pleasantly taken aback by the attention to detail in making sure the customer experience was satisfactory in a climate where most fast food establishments just don’t care anymore. Thank you for the effort!"
"Steak 'n shake always has decent food. At this location the service is disappointing though. They only have the do it yourself kiosks and no actual order taker, this significantly slows the ordering process just because a group of customers that would normally take 5 minutes or less to get through takes 10 because they all have to figure out how to use the menu. My other complaint is that the computer prompts you to tip every time someone orders... They don't take your order, they don't make your drink, they don't bring your food to your table, and they don't come and ask if you need anything. They do nothing I would be inclined to tip for. It comes across in a bad way since they only provide the bare minimum service. The shakes were good and the wait time on my 2 orders seemed to be an acceptable time period so I'll give 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"The lady we spoke with at the drive through was so nice. I burger was pretty good. I didn't realize there were onions, so that's on me. Love the blackberry chocolate chip shake. I got a small, the whipped cream takes up a lot of space."
