Rosie's Mexican Cantina

"We had a nice date night at Rosie's. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the interior decoration is beautiful and thoughtful. For our meal we had chips, salsa, and queso, a chicken quesadilla, and chicken chalupas. We loved the queso and almost filled up on it alone. Highly recommend spending the $10 for the bowl of queso to share with your table. For our entrees, they were very fresh with high quality veggies and other ingredients. The portions are very generous and will definitely leave you with leftovers. The chalupas could have used a little more flavor, but would be great with drizzled salsa or queso on top. For dessert we ordered fried ice cream, which was absolutely delicious and a huge portion for between 2-4 people, depending on how full you are from your meal! We really appreciated the diligence of our waitress Tori, who has mastered the true art of waitressing. Thank you!"

"Service and atmosphere was excellent. Chips and salsa were fresh. Salsa particularly good- thick enough to hang on your chip. Tortilla soup was meaty and substantial enough to be a meal on its own. Our main entrees were good but not distinctly novel. House margaritas were good as always. I look forward to trying other entrees on the menu."

"This is the best Mexican food place in the Huntsville-Madison area. I've have now been to Rosie's twice, once on a busy Saturday night and once on a not so busy Monday evening. Each time the chips were fresh with great tasting thick salsa. The server was on the ball and made sure we were taken care of. The time from order to delivery of food was less than 10 minutes. It was delivered hot, real hot, not the microwave hot. I had the Rosie changa, the deep fried burrito with extra rice and beans. The taste was just great all around. The atmosphere was Very Hispanic. The music was playing mariachi style music. I don't give out compliments this big, this place deserves it, it is great!"

"Our server was great, amazing service. You didn't even have to ask for refills, he just saw you needed one and did it. Long long wait to get a table but understandable since we had a large party on a busy night. Food was good, no complaints there. It's a bit crowded and loud inside, there seemed to be some indoor patio type seating I wish we could have sat in but I'll have to try by myself on a slow night to get in there I think. Overall pretty great. Super cute place too, props to the designer haha"

"The wait for a table for 5 was about 45 minutes but it was all worth the wait. The chicken and beef fajitas were perfect. All of the meals for our table met our expectations and then some. Our server was jovial and attentive. Our cups were never allowed to reach a point of being empty. We will definitely make Rosie's a mandatory stop during our next trip to Huntsville."
