"Took a brand new dog leather dog collar to this shop to have edges rounded. Heard a loud clanging that shocked all of us waiting. Paid him and took my collar and put it in the back seat. Went to get it out and the brass heavy duty clasp was chewed up and part broken off. Took it back and he claimed he knew nothing about it happening. Offered to fix it. No way was that happening! Didn’t even offer me a refund. Don’t go there!"

"Only good thing, my boots were ready on time, barely he was finishing the last one when I arrived. I was really surprised by the low quality work that was done. He compared his work to that from Dobb's in Athens. Not even close. Plus the repairs didn't last. Love the old guy that owns the place, bit it's time to retire"

"Do not go here. Took in a $600 pair of ostrich boots to get rubber soles put on. Took over a month and I got there to get them. The sole treads were on in all different directions he ground the heels out and now they don’t even go flush against the boot not to mention he put drywall screws through the inside of the boots to hold the heels on which feel off the first time I wore them. Very unsatisfied. Gave a 1 star because zero stars is not an option."

"After reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on spending $40 vs throwing these $150 Birkenstock Sandals away. Service took 12 days on new soles, which is fine, I'm not in a hurry. Cash only, I came back to pay on the 4th day, and he couldn't find the sandals and also didn't remember me dropping them off. I had nothing else going on, so I offered to look for them amongst the disarray. Another customer joined in, and after about 45 minutes I had given up and had accepted I was going to throw them away anyway, no major loss. The other customer found them in a yellow dollar general bag, amongst some other random grocery bags full of shoes. I came back to pick them up, after guessing it had been enough time, no followup call, but wasn't really expecting one based on the shoe hunt from week prior. He couldn't find them, so I started the hunt again, this time looking for a yellow bag. Only took around 20 minutes, in a cardboard box towards the back of the store. Surprisingly, they had new soles glued on and the job was complete. They're not perfect by any means, and there's glue running down the side of one of the soles. But, for $40 to have my favorite sandals back, I guess it was worth it and I'd probably do it again."
