"Very nice store. Clean but they were stalking and had the aisles blocked on two different aisles that was just in the section that I was in I could look around and I could see other aisles blocked with other huge carts of restock. That's the only reason I didn't give it a five."
"I'll show my age by saying that I remember when Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius used to advertise for the dollar general stores. Most of the stores in this chain suffer from the same problem that makes it a chore to go into, and thats the incredibly narrow. Often overstocked and disorganized isles. Understandably, space is at a premium in these stores, but it takes a toll on a shopping trip when you have to walk sideways down isles and step over boxes of product left on the floor. It seems this company keeps staffing at a minimum so the cashier, stocker, and manager are all usually one and the same. I would imagine that loss prevention in these stores would be a nightmare. I hold nothing against the people working here as they are all genuinely friendly and helpful, but I can sense frustration as it must be hectic the majority of time. Pricing here is fairly good and the Dollar General app, gives some very handy coupons based on your shopping habits. Check this store when you looking for sales and take a deep breath and meditate before walking down each isle."
"This was one of the smartest places to put a Dollar General. It is easy to grab things on the way home. It's like the last stop before there is nothing but country. There were small gas stations in the area but their prices for goods we're outrageous. So this little gem came along and solved the issue of having to back track to town or do without. Very smart decision to bless this back road with a store that carries much more than a simple gas station."
