Superior Grill

"This was my second trip to Superior Grill and I loved it both times. We were seated right away and chips & salsa were brought to the table quickly. The chips are the very thin yellow corn variety that my wife loves. The salsa to me is one of the best around but my wife wished it had more cilantro. We ordered the combination chicken & steak fajitas. Rice and tortilla soup were brought before the rest of the meal which really gave us 3 courses. I must say, the fajitas were amazing. By far the best I've had in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Both the steak and the chicken were thick cut strips of quality meat and not the straggly scraps that most places call fajitas. The kicker was the melted butter. You certainly can’t go wrong with that! The only real downside to our visit was it took a while for our waiter to take our order because he was getting another order out of the kitchen. He even acknowleged that which made it better. And plus who cares when you've got good chips & salsa to munch on. This was my second time back and I have loved it both times. This is a more pricey place than your average Mexican joint but I feel you are getting higher quality food. I'll definitely be back and this will be my choice for high quality Mexican food in Shreveport."

"I’ve lived in the area for about a year now and this is hands down the best Mexican food around! The service is phenomenal, the environment is fun, and the food is amazing! We had a party of two for a Friday night without a reservation. The wait was only about 10-15 minutes but was understandable because of how busy it was. Make a reservation if you plan on going during peak times and have a party larger than two. The service was quick and we got our appetizer and main course very quick. The food was hot and fresh. I got the El Paso combo plate which had one of everything. The steak is amazing and perfectly cooked and marinated. The chicken was tender and you can taste the smokiness of the grill. The prices were appropriate for the quality and portions and the drinks were strong and delicious. I would recommend Superior Grill for fantastic Mexican food."

"While we were waiting on a room to be assigned at the hospital, we decided to get lunch. This place wasn’t far and had good reviews so we went. It’s confusing when you walk in because there is no hostess stand and there are like 3 entrances. We finally found a waiter at the bar and he had us to just pick a table and someone would be with us. Angel came almost immediately! He was efficient, pleasant, and overall a great waiter! The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. It has a cozy but homey feel on the inside. The entree (chicken and steak) was ok but the tortilla soup was absolutely amazing!"
