"Do not stay here! Of the 2 suites we booked. Both had major issues. The manageable the hotel did not take any of the issues seriously and neither did Marriott! 1st room: walked in and saw blood splatter all over the bathroom. On the walls, in the grout, on the tile. They had no cleaning agents to properly clean up the blood. We had to go purchase bleach and spray it all over l, let it sit and clean it. 2nd room, handicap: My handicap sister stayed in this room. She went to use the shower. Sat on the handicap seat and it had been pulled from the wall. She did not realize this, which resulted in her slipping off seat into tub and calling us in a panic. My sister filed a report with them. Never received follow up."
"Quiet. Breakfast wasn't included or coffee. They had a Bistro and a Starbucks. Coffee maker in room was k-cup and all decaffeinated.."

"Despite the active renovations I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful in answering my questions. My room was recently fully renovated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is made to order so you’ll have to wait a few minutes but the food is good. This will be my go to hotel for all of my work trips to Decatur in the future!"
"If I could give more than 5 stars for overall experience, I would. There are renovations being done, and the 4th floor had been finished. The renovations are great. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable furniture. Walk-in shower separated from vanity sink area. The room was very clean and inviting. Our room had a balcony, which was nice as well. Besides all the modern amenities, the general manager Katie was beyond helpful and very accommodating. She is truly an asset to this hotel. Not only did she check us in, but she also took our order at the Bistro and cooked the food, which was delicious, and even made a great espresso. We only stayed a night, as we were clearing out an old storage building, but after an exhausting and hot day, we slept well in the very comfortable bed. We highly recommend this hotel and a huge shout out to the general manager for her exceptional customer service."
