"I live near this location and shop here often due to convenience, however, recently the customer service has gone down terribly over the past few months. Employees are rude and act like you’re bothering them when asked for help. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Sephora or one of the other Ulta locations in the Birmingham area."
"I feel like my boyfriend and I were racially profiled while shopping there this past weekend. There was plenty of people in the store and every corner I turned, I’m asked can I help you, when I told them no several times. The same employees at that. Like didn’t you just ask me that 3 minutes ago. It made me shopping experience awkward and made me feel unease. They do training on stuff like this in retail. Please learn your types of customers. Someone of us know what we want and don’t need to be haggled. The one employee I asked when I first walked through the door didn’t even know what ABH was. Like huh. I spent $84 and seriously considering returning everything just for this reason, just to prove a point. I’m not about to spend my hard earned money and be treated horribly when clearly I got the money to buy anything I want. And from what I see from other reviews they have been doing this a lot recently with black shoppers. How disappointing, I will be contacting corporate"
"My sister and I were shopping for perfume to give to my mother as a gift her 40th wedding anniversary. We were stalked by the employees the entire time we were in the store. I understand that theft is a major issue, but I couldn't enjoy my experience due to the harassment we endured. I want to add that it was evident that they were honing in on a specific demographic. The store was busy but I definitely noticed a difference in who they approached every 30 seconds "offering help.""
