"I rated the food low because they don’t have any gluten-free or dairy-free food options, which means I can’t eat there. But I’ve been a fan of their wide variety of teas and lattes for years. This location has a cozy yet airy vibe, a comfortable back porch area, and is easy to walk to from the courthouse, park, and my workplace. I appreciate the staff always being willing to lend a hand with their card reader and touch-screen, which are inaccessible to blind customers like myself. Until the credit card processing industry changes its accessibility standards, it’s up to baristas and cashiers to make up the difference, and the people at Piper & Leaf do a fine job of making me feel welcome rather than like a burden when I need assistance."
"If you are a tea lover you need to try this place. Hot or iced tea of all different types/flavors. My favorite so far is the only one I’ve tried because it’s just so dang good… the front porch special and I’ve had it hot and iced…so yummy! Make sure to get a punch card because you’ll definitely be going back and if you purchase a mason jar you get a little discount when you refill it. It’s also a nice spot to stop in and get a little work done … cozy and quiet. If you need to use the restroom while there you’ll need to ask for a key as it’s just outside the courtyard area."
"Tea was really good...coffee could have been better but not bad. (Definitely better quality than a lot of places I've been. Was just expecting something unique with the coffee & was more happy with the tea.) Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and fun menu selections as well as funky mixture of loose leaf tea varieties. Parking is not great at this location."
"Very nice place with plenty of original options to build from. Mine was a kopi with almond milk. Very friendly owner and service, he made sure we were satisfied with our choice. Nice, spacious ambience right in the city center. Stopped by on November 27, 2021, in the afternoon."
"Refreshing oasis with plenty of options for a nice drink or snack. Drinks range from refreshimg Tea to Kombucha, to Boba tea! The space is airy and clean, and you can find some gifts here or supplies of your own to make their tea at home. Staff are very friendly and helpful."
