"One of my new favorites in Fairhope! I was blown away by the food and service. I had the hot veggie plate and it was delicious!!! I honestly was not expecting it to taste so good. I can’t wait to come back!"

"The serve their own beer, and every one that I tasted was very true to the style and absolutely delicious. The German Pilsner and the Triple B sour were as good as any I’ve had for the style. Wish they could sell to go, AL three tier and other archaic systems are as bad as what we have in Louisiana. And don’t miss the house made pimento cheese with pepper jelly. Fabulous, and the fried pita chips that come with it are worth ordering just for those alone. Realized after I posted that I didn’t give appropriate credit to the friendly and prompt service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thank you!"

"Ferus is an unassuming and delightful surprise. The menu isn’t fancy but almost everything has a surprising and “up a notch” twist. There’s the beer salt on the fries, crab slaw on the fried green tomatoes and bourbon sauce on the shrimp and grits (not to mention the hidden nuggets of andouille sausage)! After a hot July day, nothing could compare to the cocktail, “nothing rhymes with orange”: orange slice, vodka, coconut and cream. Should have been named a creamsicle.., am I right? Dee-lish and concocted by our waitress. To top it all off, their house made bread pudding with blueberries! Soft on the inside, crisp on the outside, served like french toast sticks on steroids. Can’t go wrong. Although it means salad all day tomorrow, small price to pay for the indulgence tonight! Only reason atmosphere received a 4 is bc we were in the front dining area where the hostess sits and it felt a little like high school with a hall monitor. There’s an outdoor area. Too muggy for me. And a front dining room. I think the three areas lead to three different experiences. Service was efficient for the most part and friendly. Will return and highly recommend."

"Stopped in with my mother and sister for a wonderful lunch. The hummus was awesome and the pimento cheese with pepper jelly was out of this world! Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend!"
