"Went to get an oil change. That went well. However, the shop manager " seemed and said they had more business than they needed. I was asking about making an appointment. He said only 1st come, first serve, but I could leave my work van a couple of days, and they would get to it. I explained that I would not be able to work. Could I leave overnight and be early the next day. He said he just did not have time to talk with me. I told him what I had done and where I got my parts, and then he said, " Well, that's your problem. Advance has a very high failure rate. I have bought many parts for many vehicles and have not had a failure. At that point, I decided to go to Pep Boy. I figured Express did not need or want my business. I have been doing business with Tire Engineers since the 1980's and Mr . Johnson would never have allowed his people to treat a customer this way."
"There are many Express Oil Changes (EOC) around town but they are NOT all equal. I have found EOC-0128 on Valleydale to be head & shoulders above the rest. Derek runs a tight ship but they all seem to really enjoy what they do. Thank you guys for not just showing up for work but coming with a good attitude & work ethic. Both are hard to find nowadays. Blessings….."
