Walmart Auto Care Centers

"Had an appointment at 4 and my vehicle did not hit the lift and get started until 4:45. MY CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE BY 4:45. Employees are rude and have no regard. I made an appointment so that i could get my oil changed and still have time to pick up my child from school. I now have to pay late fees. Employees sit there on there phones and don’t care if you’re at the desk. Not really sure why i thought this would be a good idea. They are not done and i cannot view the tracker at all now."

"I'd like to thank Jeremy and the rest of the staff in the Auto dept for a very pleasant visit today. Makes such a difference to be accommodated by folk who are happy to be there and meet new customers. Great job on fitting my tires and making me feel welcome."

"Twice in the last six weeks I’ve gone to Walmart in Hoover at the auto center to have tires, but on my daughters car and my wife’s car. When I brought my daughters car, they called me and said a thunderstorm was in progress. They had to close and could not put the tires on till the next day and kept the car overnight. When I went back the next day, one of the managers told me there was no such policy of closing because of a thunderstorm. So, they lied. Yesterday carried my wife’s Tahoe to have a tire put on because she had a flat and it could not be repaired. I got there at 5:15 PM and was told they were closed . This Walmart auto center in Hoover is the worst. I would go anywhere but there. I won’t make the same mistake a third time.."

"Was sitting here over a hour . No one worked on my car everybody was just lounging around . Informed the manager he told me he was busy doing something else . Waited another 30 minutes because mechanic kept getting called out by manager to ring up customers ! I have never had to wait this long for an oil change . The customer service sucks !"

"I took my vehicle to this place to have new tires mounted onto a set of rims, balanced, and placed on my vehicle. One tire was already mounted and on the vehicle but not balanced. I specifically told them more than once to make sure and balance all 4 wheels because I got the feeling that the tech at the counter was not listening to what I was saying. Long story short, They balanced 3 of the wheels and left one unbalanced. Now I have a vehicle with one shaky wheel that I’m going to have to take back and hopefully have fixed. I’m sure they’ll take their sweet time again and I’ll end up wasting half my weekend waiting on it. Go somewhere else. Pay a few extra bucks to have it done right. You get what you pay for"
