"I love this app because not only can you leave a good review if you have a good experience at a place you visit but you can leave a bad review if you have a bad experience at a place you have had a bad experience with, it also is public and others are warned about the place in question and the owners of the establishment has the opportunity to take action and or fix the situation and or problem. Great app love it."

"Terrible operation. They sell you expensive big ticket items and do not give you decent service after the sale. We bought an expensive Samsung refrigerator with an extended warranty. First the ice maker stopped working then it started leaking water which damaged our floor. Home Depot and Samsung are refusing to fix our floors."

"UPDATE: Home Depot called me to try to correct this issue. Home Depot corporate called me to try and help resolve the issue. She put the Daphne store manager in touch with me to work it all out. I was told that I would need to purchase the toolbox again for $925.00 and they would bring the new toolbox out on 12/20/23. At the time they brought the new one, they would pick up the damaged one. Once the damaged one was returned to the store I would be credited the $975.00 for the original purchase. So now, I have purchased this toolbox twice and still just have the one damaged one. I received a call back from the Daphne store manager, Alicia Triplett, this past Saturday to let me know that they messed up the second order as well and now that order was canceled. They stated that it was refunded but I have not seen that money back yet. THEY THEN WANTED ME TO PURCHASE IT A THIRD TIME TO MAKE IT WORK!! These people have lost their minds. I told them no. The Daphne, AL store is not running properly. The store Manager should be held accountable for what a disaster this order became. I will keep the original toolbox at this point and I just wanted them to refund some of the price discounted off the original order. They did send me a credit of $400 and something dollars toward the original purchase so I am guessing this will be resolved IF I do indeed receive all the money back they have promised. HOWEVER, I WILL NEVER AS LONG AS I LIVE BUY ANOTHER ITEM FROM HOME DEPOT. What a nightmare. ORIGINAL ISSUE: I purchased a very large Husky brand toolbox for my husband for Christmas. I took the day off from work to have it delivered to my house. I had my neighbor take the morning off as well to help me and to hide it at their house until Christmas as we still like to surprise one another on Christmas. My delivery window was from 6 am to 10 am on 12/04/2023. 10 am came and went and no contact from the store. I called them at 10:30 and was told they were running 2 hours behind. I called work and told them I would be a bit later than expected. 1 pm came and went and still no contact and no delivery. I called again and was told it was still coming but just late. My neighbor had to leave to go to work and I was on my own. Home depot finally showed up at 8 pm and my husband was home from work by this point so Christmas was ruined AND the tool box has several places where it was damaged!!! I did not know until we unwrapped the plastic from it and by this point I had already signed for it and the delivery driver was gone. Home Depot will do nothing about it and now I am stuck with a ruined Christmas and an expensive damaged toolbox. As long as I live and breathe air, I will NEVER shop there again!"

"I purchased a Cub Cadet electric lawn mower September 1st and still have not been able to use it due to some defect that Home Depot has not helped me resolve. I called and talked in depth to customer service who advised me to call Cub Cadet who was not easy to get in touch with. Then Home Depot suggested I call the extended warranty company number which I did not have and had to call the store back to obtain that number since I purchased the extended warranty. Then I was told I could contact myself a company in Mobile that Home Depot uses replacement parts since my lawn mower was not charging, and it was thought to be the charger. Mind you, the store never started the lawn mower before delivering it to my house the following Tuesday to see if the lawn mower actually would turn on. They were supposed to call me 30 minutes prior to delivering and did not, and I have no idea how long it sat outside my garage door before I noticed. I went to charge the mower, and it would not charge. I eventually was able to get in touch with Cub Cadet who sent a new charger that just arrived yesterday ( it took 8 days to arrive, and mind you I am still without a lawn mower). I went to attempt to charge the battery, and it will not work. I attempted multiple times to call Home Depot in Daphne, Alabama, was repeatedly put on hold even after being told I would be transferred directly to a manager who then still put me on hold. I feel as a customer who has been without the use of a lawn mower since September 1st and has gone through all the hoops I was told I had to go through with no further help or results Home Depot except a refusal to help that I at least deserve to talk with someone regarding the situation and have not been able to do so. I will not be purchasing from this store in the future and will be leaving reviews elsewhere and telling friends and family about this situation. Hopefully this situation can be resolved soon as I have been now dealing with this situation approx 1 month."
