"Went in this Waffle House this evening. This is the new one in Athens and we was expecting it to be great from what we had heard about it. We love the old one in Athens. Came in without the normal welcome greeting. The waiter seemed irritated and complaining to the point customers could hear him. About 10 minutes after we sat down he finally came and took our order. He continued to complain enough for customers to hear him. After seeing the chef deliver food to a table and the bread being burnt we decided to leave and go to the old Waffle House. I told the waiter he could cancel my order and his replay was “hell yeah, one less order”. First and last experience at this Waffle House. Go to the old one on 72. Much better service and food!"
