"Well taken care of, sprawling park area with access to the river, lake, beautiful sandy beach and some hiking. Many beautiful waterfalls to stop at on the way to or from this place. This is a must if you’re in the area."

"Very nice Fall afternoon spent there. There were still people swimming! My wife and I looked for some cool rocks, and found an eye agate. Definitely worth a stop to check it out!"

"Nice park and walking paths to Lake Superior. Cool suspension bridge as well. It does require a National Park pass for parking."

"Lake Superior the greatest of the great lakes. Hard to believe it's a lake really. The beach is nothing like anything I have seen before. Best rock hounding beach. The area was clean well kept and over all beautiful. Parking was about 5 minutes of a walk from the beach. It wasn't even hard to get the wagon full of beach toys chairs and goodies down the path. Can't wait to be able to bring my family here again."

"The waterfalls are beautiful, and the lakefront shows the power of the great lake with numerous logs and driftwood. We even found some cool rocks. Neat place to visit!"
