"If you are looking to disconnect from the world, then this is the place! Beautiful nightsky, great staff, cabins were great! If you know how to start a fire, then I highly recommend turning off all the lights and enjoying the fire inside the front room. If you need to stay connected to the outside world, though, I do not recommend it as you won't be able to. The internet is available, but it comes and goes as it pleases. I plan to go again here soon!"
"My husband and I stayed here two nights to celebrate his birthday, and we loved the whole experience. As beautiful as it is to drive up there, staying in the cabin and walking the trails was even more impressive than I expected. The Lodge stands out at the top of all my travel stays. We'd heard the food was good but even the food exceeded our expectations too. We ordered from the window. What kind people Wadid and John are, and the Keweenaw is lucky to have them and the ideas they are implementing, and all the hard work they've done to preserve that special place."
"We went up for fall colors and stayed in log cabins (heated but you can make your own fire). Breakfast is included and delicious! We purchased a picnic basket dinner and grilled our own burgers with some additional fixings! Staff and chef are superb! Well worth the drive!"

The history of the lodge alone makes it a worthy destination, but when you add in the natural beauty of the location it makes it a must see destination. The new owners are wonderful and make every effort to ensure your visit is memorable. We took advantage of the chefs dinner during our stay and it was a highlight."
