"Stayed there in February 2023! The cabin was very smelly like mildew! I checked out the next day and they wouldn’t give me a refund! I do not recommend this place! Mice in the cabins! Very smelly ! I can tell they needed the $ as they would not refund me for the day I didn’t stay! I checked out early due to the poor circumstances of the cabin! Yuk!! Never again! I can see most people gave it 5 stars but I think it’s just all friends of theirs! It truly was a horrific experience!"

"The Timbers Resort is an absolutely awesome place to stay. I am currently staying here for the third time. The cabins are clean, comfortable, have everything you need, and feel like home. They almost make you feel like you’re going back in time, in the best way possible! Cable, plenty of power outlets, wifi, spacey parking lot, easy access to the lake, etc. On top of it all, the owners, Tim and Sarah, are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome. They make sure you have what you need and are taken care of! Highly recommend!"

"Sarah and Tim were excellent. Our stay was so laid back and comfortable and just what we needed. We will be returning and booked our next trip before leaving. They are so friendly and the cabins were so cozy. We stayed here while on a guided ice fishing trip and they were so wonderful with making sure we had what we needed to wrap up the fish that we were going to take home to have mounted. We highly recommend visiting The Timbers Resort for your next MI getaway!"
