"My daughter and her fiancée had an offer on a house with them. They had to ask for 6% of closing costs from seller to meet the requirements of their lender. They told the seller that the estimated closing was $11k and that is what they were asking for instead of the 6% of $11k which is only $660! That’s intentionally misleading the seller. Then we there is the issue of only giving them 1.5 hour to decide on the counter offer which ironically aligned with the same deadline to decide on multiple offers. High pressure tactics for 1st time home buyers and misleading the seller with false information."
