"I have been unimpressed with the management of this place. I applied online, paid the 75.00 fee and paid another 200.00 to be on their wait list. No one will return my calls. I have heard nothing back from them on the application after almost a month. I can’t imagine renting from a company that can’t be bothered to return a message (multiple messages)!"

"I have lived here for multiple years and have witnessed the property, management and customer service steadily plummet, all while having rent increase just as steadily. (See Pictures corresponding to the following): We have non-residents who constantly come and dump trash in the dumpsters, making it nearly impossible for us who live here to dispose of our trash without having to throw bags 10 feet above the top of the dumpster line To attempt to get a bag To balance at the top of the mountain of trash that are our dumpsters. The parking lot has so many large potholes that it makes it impossible not to hit them without having too drive on the sidewalk. The snow removal is never done until LONG after conditions become slippery and challenging at best. Dangerous and negligent at worst. I have had to buy a shovel and salt to make sure my elderly neighbor can safely walk to his car every time we get snow and ice. The grounds and “amenities” are dangerous, disgusting eyesores! The courtyard trash hasn’t been emptied in MONTHS and the community grills are now a breeding ground for rodents and tetanus. And they advertise “secured entry system”, but none of the buildings entry doors lock shut anymore. ALL OF THESE ISSUES have been brought to management’s attention SEVERAL times through the channels they require. This place has become slum housing with a price tag higher than any other complex per sq. Ft in Ionia!!! Stay away!"

"A relative of mine has lived there for several years and has a HORRIBLE time getting anyone to do repairs needed. His (using "his" for ease of writing) heating vents don't put out much air. He has ribbons taped up by them and the ribbons don't really move to show that the air is coming out. He also has a window in one of the bedrooms that the outside pane is cracked and so he has no air barrier and the room is frigid in the winter. NEVER do they repair anything he needs to be repaired. They say that they don't have enough money to. I wouldn'trecommend The Abby to anyone."

"I have lived here for 2 years and I have really enjoyed it. Maintenance has always fixed problems in less than one business day, cleaning is done often, and it is very quiet. I would highly recommend living here."
