"While attending our "Forgotten Eagles of Michigan" state convention in St. Ignace a homeless veteran asked if we knew where he might be able to get some help. Immediately got in touch with Patriot Place and they said they would be up in the morning to pick this man up, We collected a donation for him to spend the night at the motel, he is at Patriot Place and doing well. This can not say enough good about this place. WELL DONE!"

"I personally lived their for a few months shy of a year. Sure, they have rules and regulations, but, so what? You're there because you are either a currently homeless veteran or a veteran that will be homeless shortly. I think the rules of "sign in by (such and such) time" and "be at your house by 23:59 each night unless you have filled out a "pass" 48 hours [leeway is granted in many cases] ahead of time" and "no smoking indoors" and "no alcohol consumption" and "no marijuana" and "no firearms" and "respect your neighbors" and "maintain a clean home" are all easy rules to follow when you're only charged 30% of your personal income as rent all while having no other bills to worry about. Electricity, cable, water, and heat are all covered by Patriot Place. Any negative report against Patriot Place is either unimportant (the other veterans there are human too. You might not get along with a few, be an adult and deal with it respectfully) or a bold lie."
