The nearby restaurants provided a much needed break from the long focused days of planning and vision casting. The property is beautifully maintained with a spectacular view of the lake."

"The house is perfect. We stayed there with 4 families and we had a blast. The kitchen has everything you need to create amazing meals. The rooms are nice and well-equipped, and it's perfect for kids to spend time downstairs while the adults chill upstairs. We were there during the winter and did go out a bit for hiking and coffee, but spent most time inside. We would love to come back in the summer."

"We stayed here with our 11 person wedding party in December 2023 and we had more than enough space for everyone to feel comfortable! This is a great place to stay no matter what time of year. The view was lovely and the beds were super comfy. The open concept also made it very easy to socialize with each other. The host is very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Oh and the kitchen had everything you could ever think of! Would absolutely recommend!"

"Extremely well equipped spacious home with plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of 13 celebrating an 80th birthday. We were impressed with how well the kitchen was equipped for home-cooked meals for a large group. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and dishes, plus all kinds of helpful kitchen gadgets to prepare a gourmet meal. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, equipped with all kinds of toys, games, and entertainment options for all generations, including beach toys, strollers, and Pack & Plays (our group did not use these, but was impressed with the supplies). We loved the screened porch which comfortably seated our group, the larger dining table and the nice family room. We very much appreciated the great location, within a 8-minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. Alex, the manager, was very responsive and helpful with suggestions for activities. We highly recommend this home and would love to come back soon!"

"The Douglas Modern Villa was absolutely amazing! It's located in a quiet neighborhood just around the corner from downtown Douglas, where there are cute shops and restaurants, and a very short drive (or long walk) to the beach and downtown Saugatuck. We took advantage of the 2 block walk to a kayak rental and found it a safe and easy place to go for walks and runs. The house itself was super clean, open and perfect for our larger groups who needed several private bedrooms and bathrooms. Thank you, Alex, for all your great recommendations and excellent communication. Our only regret with this rental is that we didn't stay longer. We will definitely be back!"
