"Beautiful lake view with quiet firepit tables and seating areas with delicious breakfast with friendly staff, and heated pool for cooler weather with free beach cruiser bikes to ride around. Cons are uncomfy pillows and small bathroom and it's hard to get a reservation unless you get first dibs or constantly monitoring for a cancelation. No bar or wet bar. BYOW or BYOB."

"A beautiful, quiet little piece of heaven off the lake. Came here with a friend on a girls' trip and couldn't have had a more wonderful and relaxing time! Everyone at the main house was so kind and welcoming, the food delicious, and the views? To die for. Can't wait to come back again sometime!"

"Wanting to escape Chicago for a few days to unwind on a solo vacation, Saugatuck was the perfect destination. I had heard great things about Lake Shore Resort, and it certainly did not disappoint. From my first interaction with Michelle upon checking in, to my last interaction checking out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was memorable. All my dealings with the staff over the two days were nothing short of exceptional, with the friendliest and most professional staff. The resort is very well-maintained, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location on the shoreline makes for the most incredible sunsets - truly a stunning and tranquil location! A big thank you to all the staff for making my trip a memorable one - I look forward to hopefully returning soon!"

"An absolutely beautiful resort! The entire resort has been nicely updated. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The staff is so kind. The location is great—just a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. There are also quite a few options for meals nearby (3 minutes away) if you don’t feel like driving into the downtown area. The amenities are amazing! We used the private walking trails and the lakeside seating. It was a little cool to use the pool but it is heated so other guests were using it. When you hear “continental breakfast” you think cereal, pastries and coffee. There were five breakfast options including a breakfast burrito and avocado toast. They also have a full service coffee bar! The breakfast was amazing and you’re able to sit outside and enjoy the view of Lake Michigan. This is a very special property. We only stayed 3 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. We will be returning next season!"
