"Very cool and informative exhibits. Staff were super friendly and they were plenty of interesting activities for kids. We had a nice time. It was free but I would have easily paid for the experience. Will be back if in this area again."
"This was a great museum when I was a student at Ferris 12 years ago, it's even better now! Instead of just mounts, they have organized displays that are well labeled, furs and mystery boxes to interact with, coloring pages, a scavenger hunt and quiz pages. We went with a group with kids ranging from 4 to 15 and everyone was well engaged and learned lots! Best part is that it's free and if you call ahead they can be well prepared for any group size with any age range."
"Took my niece here it’s free and location is in Big Rapids. She is only here for the summer so I’ve been trying to find something everyday to do and we found this little gem and she had a lot of fun."
"It is a great free activity. It's educational and very entertaining. It would be fine for any age group. The hands on portion is a bit smaller than I expected. It is a barrier free building and would be easily wheelchair accessible. There is a room that has animals from Michigan alone . The large game are LARGE some hold international records. It took us well over an hour to go through."
