"We visited the Family Fare gas station after dark, on a trip with very young children. This gas station is apparently the only one at this intersection with the highway. The young man running the gas station would not let in this mother with young children. He really thought this middle aged mother with a little boy holding himself was going to rob him? Unapologetic about it, with no suggestions about where to go...and we needed to go immediately. We ran to the supermarket across the lot to find a restroom in horrible condition...two out of three toilets unflushed with grossness. Then, rather than take our other child in that filth, we had to go to McDonald's across the street. What normally should have been a one stop pit stop became a three stop debacle, including a sprint across a parking lot."
"This is a good place to shop if you want to get in and out in a hurry. Sometimes going to the bigger stores like Meijers and Walmart can be more of a hassle, so having just the grocery store instead of a super store can work in my favor."
