"I love this store. Everything is well laid out and it’s usually well stocked. If you see something you like, you better get two of them to freeze one for later - it seems the offerings change and there are always delightful discoveries each time I go in. The produce section is my first favorite spot followed by the meat counters - fabulous!"

"A decent selection for a downtown supermarket, but I will not be returning due to the lack of cashiers. I'm not interested in checking or bagging my own groceries."

"Glad that Meijer has two stores in the city now. That said, this is SIGNIFICANTLY different from your standard Meijer and looks like what Meijer doing its best market impression. There’s a fair amount of grocery items, in addition to a pretty excellent selection of cold drinks and cafe fare during lunch hours. The prices aren’t entirely awful either (though I’m still getting my chicken elsewhere in the city.) All and all, it’s a great option for grocery shopping that doesn’t see me hitting 8 Mile or Michigan Ave to get what I want."

"Nice store, different Meijer, than I have seen before but very nice. Parking is tight."

"We recently relocated to downtown Detroit. Been trying different local grocery stores within reasonable walkability. So far, this place has the best price and variety. Especially local Detroit and Michigan made items (chips, salsa, wine, etc). Its clean and its neat. The staff seems to enjoy what they do, friendly, and helpful. And we loooooove the self checkout. Last, when the weather is unbearable; it’s an easy walk to (People Mover) Bricktown Station or take the bus."
