"My 20 year old John Deere G110 and Deck were in critical need of servicing, especially the 54" deck. It was absolutely terrific dealing with Troy, who was straight forward and answered all my questions. He did not "over promise" and gave realistic estimates for service time and the cost of parts. I was most satisfied with the work done and it now "runs like a youngster" --- and I very much enjoyed working with Troy. It was well worth the trip from Burt Lake to Gaylord."

Nikki was helpful with completing the purchase and providing some great tips on restaurants in the area. "Customer service was bad back when it was Lappans, but now it's horrible. At least Lappans would answer your phone call. Between that and selling the wrong part for our leaf blower then tried blaming it on us when it was on the receipt they had, we will not be giving them our business any longer. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this also."
"I guess my green $$$ will be going elsewhere from now on. Troy was polite and professional on the two-phone conversations we had, but under the new Hutson ownership, they only deal with John Deere products and would not be able to assist me in providing advice about a “seized” shear bolt on my Craftsman, likely a grade 5 or 8 bolt installed by the previous owner, after I tried a few tips from YouTube videos that didn't help. He also let me know they no longer would be able to service non-John Deere products, like Lappin's did. I get that a JD dealer needs to take care of JD owner's first, however providing advice on a common snowblower issue, regardless of manufacture, is part of business goodwill and helpfulness that leads to future business and good word of mouth about the business. If the advice that I was hoping to receive didn't solve the issue, I would have brought the snowblower in for service, which is business revenue $$$."
