"I would love to give more stars as I was trying to find a quick-stop market for tamales near me. This place is very close. However, compared to the tamales I get a bit further down the road, there was hardly any meat in these (I tried the beef and then the chicken). The chicken was very dry. There seemed to be mostly masa to meat ratio, and the husk was double folded into the masa. This made for having to deconstruct the tamale entirely before eating. I feel bad leaving such a review as the staff is friendly, but I'm hoping they can use this as constructive criticism and make improvements in the future. I would love to be able to stop here, unfortunately that is not the case right now."
"Great place if you are from Texas and you can't find those spices you have been missing since you moved up north. They had a good selection plus fresh tamales!! The guy at the register was nothing but pleasant, and did I mention they had fresh tamales!!!"
