"This is the second best island park in Michiana (I don’t know about South Bend - Elkhart as the area as been rebranded without citizen consent or desire and to the exclusion of many places)"

"This could be an amazing park! I am hopeful that Niles puts some money into this park. It could be a huge draw for people. Concerts, cookouts, etc. A nice park. Just needs some TLC."

"A beautiful, secluded island with adequate space for multiple people and families, topped with a little area to grill and eat. It's so peaceful here in the mornings, I love coming here to walk around, look at the ducks and sit with my thoughts. With just a little maintenance, this park could be a hot spot for parties and the like."

"Quaint little park that as its name suggests is on an island. Very sandy but plenty of trees and vegetation for shade. Multiple benches and swings need work however this little park is still a gem."

"Old park that apparently has dealt with some flooding. Newer bridge to park. Overall the park area is pretty sandy but does have shelter area with grill, benches and a bench swing. Good place for dogs to roam and to see Geese up close. There are some nice tree and it’s a peaceful place to come for early morning sunshine and nature watching"
