"I called this morning to inquire about new floor coverings for my home. Mary answered and was so busy talking over the top of me I could barely get a word in. I did manage to make an appointment at her convenience because she was having her hair done nearby on a certain day at a certain time. Meantime I did some research and gave more thought to what I wanted and called her back to let her know and again I could barely speak because she again talked over the top of me, too busy telling me why I didn't want or she probably couldn't provide what I wanted. I called back a third time asking for the owner and she called back and told me she was the owner. I told her I had been in sales a long time and talking over the top of someone that way was not the right approach...she said "you know what I'm going to cancel our appointment and we are done talking." Nice. How can someone like that stay in business? Well she will never see a nickel from me and I will tell the story to everyone I meet so I guess she had better get her hair done before she goes out of business."
