"I am no longer a faithful and content customer after my last visit 3 months ago. I'm posting this review here and now because Mike's apparently blocked the one I submitted shortly thereafter to their preferred review website, using the link they sent me. This past winter, my 2002 Volkswagen started losing all power one day while driving at highway speeds. I called Mike's, described the problem in detail and then asked if they could fix it. They said yes so I dropped it off. Three separate appointments (including 2 tow-ins) in 2 months and $900 later, I got 3 different diagnoses and 3 repairs that all failed to make the car driveable again for more than an hour. They also promised over the telephone to return an original part to me for free and then tried to charge me for it once I arrived to pick it up. When I complained about that and how their latest failure left me stranded on a freeway for hours without heat in 20-degree weather, they responded with their own insulting barrage of complaints. They said my car was too old to fix and too dangerous to test-drive, and that I didn't appreciate their efforts because I was a woman. Yet, for the last 3 years, they had no problem with this woman bringing this same car to them to fix and accepting the thousands of dollars this woman previously paid for their work. I left empty-handed, bewildered and in complete disgust. Two coworkers later reassured me that I made the right decision to never return. Both had car repairs done at Mike's that had to be redone by another mechanic. This place should've been as honest and ethical as other repair shops nearby who declined my repair requests because they admitted upfront to not knowing how to fix Volkswagens properly. They valued me as a customer, and their own reputations as mechanics, enough to spare us both the aggravation."

"We have taken our car to Mike's for years and they have been fantastic. Recently took my mom's car in after some problems at her dealership. (She went to the dealership 4 times asking for help and they couldn't find anything wrong.) Mike was able to find the problem right away and fixed everything for a reasonable price and amount of time. They are honest and great at what they do."

"Excellent Excellent Fast service. Had slow leak in tire, dreaded taking car in. Called Mike's, they said come right down. I did, dealt with Haas, and they found and fixed all within 5-10 minutes, I was on my way! That's fantastic and much appreciated service. They know their stuff here, highly recommend."
