"Went in for an oil change and they told me I needed new brakes and rotors for a total price of $1100. Took the brake pads off and they looked completely fine along with the rotors. The only problem was a small clip scratching the pad, which they either didn’t want to take 10 seconds to fix or put it on incorrectly when they took the pads off. The brakes were just changed recently (10-20k miles ago) and still have at least 30k miles left."
