"The appointment and costumer service is terrible, I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance fir a Saturday 8 am, and they told they don't have technicians on Saturday, that's ridiculous, don't allow people to make appointments on Saturdays then. You just lost a loyal customer."

"If you want to experience amateur hour work with Pep Boys. Tires were ordered on Black Friday but not available until almost two months later. They magically showed up after I submitted a complaint to corporate. I showed up for my appointment and the tire "technician" couldn't get a stripped lug nut off my car. I had to leave Pep Boys and go pay Discount tire to remove because Pep Boys doesn't have the proper tools for this which is quite unbelievable. Once I came back to Pep Boys with all new lugs installed it took them an hour and a half to change four tires. Icing on the cake with the fact that they forgot to put the value stem covers on the tires. While the tires were a good deal and the ride is very nice I will never go back to Pep Boys ever again."

"Wonderful car service experience. Alex (the manager) and Zach (our technician) took great care of us. They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Thank you for hiring great people like this. Had us in and out -- after an oil /filter change and tire rotation -- in no time. We had made an appointment for 11:00 am on a Saturday, and they had our car on the lift by 11:08!"

"Posting an update to the review and the rating. Everyone including the manager was very courteous. I was contacted by the manager again after picking up the vehicle and once again reassured nothing is wrong with the brakes. So far things are working well so I am now satisfied with the work. Initial Review: I took my vehicle in for work on my brakes. Initially when I took the vehicle home it seemed like my brakes were working much better. Then just two days later while I was driving the vehicle uphill and had to stop at a red light I began rolling backwards even though I was pressing the brake pedal. I dropped off my vehicle to be looked at in the morning because they were closed, and the associate left a note for the manager to contact me first thing in the morning. The manager contacted me a few hours after they had opened, and stated that they did not find anything wrong with my brakes. I eventually went to pick the vehicle up by noon and once again the brakes seem to be working good. I felt like it was important to update the review to explain that eventually I did get contacted by the manager and get additional services completed. The check in for my initial visit was smooth and the staff seemed courteous. I basically felt like I had a good experience until what I experienced a couple of days later. If I had been communicated with earlier in the day when I brought the car back that may have changed my overall view on what happened. I was really upset because of the fact that I had to miss work and I could not give a real estimate of how long things were going to take to my boss because no one had contacted me first thing in the morning. Considering the high cost of the services and the fact that just a couple of days later I had to bring the vehicle back, I definitely felt like communicating with me early in the morning should have been more of a priority."
