"I really hope people do their research before deciding to order from Look In the Attic. Recap: Ordered from two different companies similar products on the same day. Look In the Attic charged me $22 to ship the envelope and the other company charged $6.00 (same weight and both shipped in the same size envelope). The $6.00 shipment is sent USPS priority mail and the shipper referred to the service as their standard shipping. It also had to ship from a much further distance and arrives the day before the $22 envelope shipped by Look in the Attic. Look In the Attic ships their envelope via UPS 3 day service yet unethically refers to the shipping as expedited service on their website. It ships the same day as the other envelope from the other company, has to travel a shorter distance but because of the service selected arrives the day after the $6.00 envelope. I worked for a large shipping company and I know that customers who have a high shipping volume are given substantial discounts. I realize they can charge whatever they like for shipping but most shippers will pass the shipping discount on to their customers and not try to make an additional profit off the shiping. They are already expensive to begin with. I paid $70 for two drawer pulls from Look In the Attic. The quality of the drawer pulls wasn't anything spectacular. In fact the workmanship of the other less expensive shipment was better. This just left me feeling ripped off. Oh and I provided this feedback to Look In the Attic. I was not asking for an adjustment nor expecting one. I simply wanted to provide them with feedback. The only thing I was expecting was a response at least acknowledging what I was trying to convey. I never received a response. I learned my lesson to never order anything again from Look In the Attic as they will just try to rip you off with shipping. Their products alone are not even worth the price (at least what I ordered) and that's even before the shipping cost. I will tell everyone I know to avoid ordering anything from them! It's just not worth it!"

"This company has the worst customer service on the entire planet!!!! It's as if their policy is to deliberately make life difficult and unfair for their customers. I ordered 12 cabinet pulls from them and 6 came back super dark tarnished and the other 6 bright polished gold. I asked for an exchange for matching colors and the customer service representative processed a return which charged me a restocking fee. I went back and forth with proof of my word exchange in emails for a month and finally gave up and said just send me 6 new ones. Not only did I lose the money for their own error, I was still one short and had planned to place a new additional order once this was resolve. I was so stressed arguing I just postponed my whole project. Finally, a year later, I decided to order the 1 extra I was missing and just like last time, this new one came back dark and mismatched from the ones already installed. Understand: the older ones are in better condition than the new one sent. I asked to exchange for the matching color and Nicole told me that I would have to install the dark one and wait for the other 12 to tarnish to eventually match the single one that is already darker... as if this one won't also get even darker over time. Zero logic and pitiful response. The way this business serves customers is the most aggravating experience I've ever had as a consumer in my lifetime. I wish I could order this product elsewhere, but I can't find it. I've abided by every single requirement to be able to exchange a product, yet still, they blow the opportunity to serve customers with satisfaction. If you can avoid it, do not shop here. They'll take your money and refuse to offer any help or reasonable solutions. You can't even reach someone who has access to ensuring the product you order will be exactly what you intend to purchase. Orders should not be a guessing game or such a fight!"

"Three weeks after ordering, we received a doorbell that didn't match the online image. The invoice was from the manufacturer, not Look The Attic. So we found their "Customer Service," number online. Once we called, the operator was nonchalant at best and referred us back online to do the return. Once online, a multi-step process had to followed, including printing and completing a paper return request. We also discovered that we'd be charged a 18% restocking fee and would pay all return shipping costs. Two weeks after returning the doorbell that didn't match their online image, we received a partial refund, one $22 less than we paid, plus another $15+ in return shipping, for a total loss of $37! Clearly, this company could care less about actual customer service since they make it as difficult as possible to return items, even when the error was theirs. We have a big project and these guys could have made some good sales, but their cheapskate business model ruined it. We'll NEVER do business with them again."

"There are very few pictures of these products in people's homes, so you take a huge gamble when ordering something based solely on stock photos. I made the mistake of ordering door knobs and plates that didn't have reviewer photos and immediately regretted it. The antique brass is black and brown looking and far from what I had expected. Unfortunately, the return fees are extremely high and as a result, I may be better off trying to re-sell them myself. Would recommend using a different vendor with more customer-friendly return policies or just place a small order so you can make sure you like it before ordering more!"

"We ordered three sets of Rice pattern pocket door pulls. THEY ARE AWESOME!! We got the oil brushed bronze finish; they are just beautiful. They are clearly good quality, substantial weight too. They are the highlight of our renovations!! Also we did extensive research, trying to find something for our doors, of the same quality and vintage look but we truly couldn't find anything online (admittedly we were looking for lower pricing). At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and wow, these pulls are TOTALLY WORTH IT. I will add a picture later today. Thank you Look in the Attic for providing such wonderful pieces. We consider them works of art!"
