"A lot of people that live in surrounding neighborhoods have stopped going here, because George hires women with the most terrible attitudes. They don’t greet customers, they will not even open their mouths when they are checking you out at the register. George allows them to curse at customers WHILE ON DUTY and continue to work……… without any discipline! To George (the GM) “ the worker is always right!” Even when they are wrong. I don’t care how much you complain about the bad attitudes of employees there, he won’t do anything about it! The last time this establishment had good employees working there is when Tasha was managing! The employee turnover rate is now high, because The GM doesn’t know how to hire good workers, and allow those same people to bully new hires……. So they leave! Also, it’s nothing like going into a store and the managers are asleep in the back! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Drive further down the road to dollar General. Dollars General has kind employees who are actually kind, respectful, fun and easy to work. The lines are sometimes long there now because most people opt out of going to family dollar, and go there instead! Unfortunately his unwavering support of his employees laziness, bad customer service, and bad attitudes most people in the area refuse to step foot in here anymore! I Now understand why so many people in the area were telling me not to go in there anymore, that it’s not worth the headache, or drama! Oh yeah, and their Apple Pay NEVER works, so they turn customers away who only have Apple Pay as a payment method, instead of getting the machine fixed……. Unbelievable! If corporate wants this store to be good again, they are gonna have to “clean house” with employees in order to re-market, and revamp the place! Or the current GM needs to put his foot down and not tolerate his employees to ruin the business."

"I don't get why these stores close at 9:48 you walk in "oh where closed" just a little early. I don't see the store opening up 12 minuets early don't know why you turn customers away when they're already inside the building."

"Experienced horrible customer service today. Went into the store to purchase some items. New lady at the register was very rude. I simply asked a question about the cost of an item, she didn’t acknowledge me, so I asked for a manager and she gets a attitude yells the other young lady’s name and proceeded to walk away. I told her that she has a really bad attitude, she got upset yelled I don’t have an attitude and proceeded to say don’t talk to me out loud with two other customers behind me. Then I expressed I work in customer service and there is a way to speak to customers. She proceeded to say “I DON’T CARE” I am sick and tired of paying my money where I have unprofessional people handling my business. Then I was told by the other employee that she wasn’t feeling good. That’s no excuse for rudeness!! My thing is I understand being sick in a working environment but she shouldn’t be working. Being sick and rude has NOTHING to do with each other. She should be home not working if that’s the case. I talk to customers all day but if I’m not feeling good then either I’m not working or I need a minute away to regroup not take it out on customers. I will not continue to spend my money where I’m disrespected! Then I was told that the price of of the item was on the item, but it’s not. The price on the shelve said 1.00 cheaper then what I paid. (Picture added) I was told that it’s a sign said the items on the shelves might not match up to the item. I need things to be in order so I don’t have to question anything. Myself, family, and friends done doing business with this Family Dollar!! They won’t ever get business no more!!"

"Came in to grab a couple drinks and use the restroom because I am pregnant and have zero bladder control. Well I was told by the manager Sam that I could not use the restroom. I asked her why and she explained that it was right by the office. So I asked her why she couldn’t stay back there with me so I don’t pee my pants in her store. She just kept telling me no and sorry. Like that was going to do something. So I started crying, knowing I was going to pee my pants as soon as I moved. And guess what! I did. Right when I got to my car I peed my pants. Awesome right? What great customer service. This is no way to treat your customers. I will be calling corporate about this tomorrow morning."
