"Had an alternator fail just before Christmas. Dennis and Terry said bring it down and drop it off, but it would take a few days to look at. Got a call the next day that the work was finished, and they'd even replaced the bad belt driving it. Great work done quickly, at a reasonable price. What more do you want? "Absolutely horrible place. We bought a car with a bad transmission. These people were recommended to us by the car lot. We had a full inspection done by a certified licensed technician in Grand Rapids we wanted to go with but were told that this place works with the warranty company we have. So we take it and these people didn’t tell us until they had the car for THREE weeks that they don’t have any affiliation with the car lot and don’t work on their cars nor do they work with the warranty companies labor rate. After three weeks. So we agreed to pay the difference since they had the car anyways. Another three weeks goes by and the car is finally done and we pick it up. And two days later the car has issues. The alternator is now not working. Everything except the transmission and the control arms were IN WORKING order. We have a full report from a fully certified technician to prove it and now are paying for the reputable shop to look at the car and find the mistakes this place made. ABSOLUTELY STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE."

"Absolutely terrible. They threw away parts I provided and charged me for parts I provided. Oil leak they were supposed to fix was worse when I picked it up. They ruined part of my axle housing. Left a bump stop unattached on spring perch. I wouldn’t trust them for a simple oil change."

"My wife and I really appreciate this shop. We have had a string of bad luck with car repairs and they always treat us right. They have always been accommodating and their communication is superb. They do not try to up sell repairs, quite the contrary. We will only use Advantage Auto and Truck for out vehicle repairs."

"been dealing with these guys for years now, and like other reviewers stated, it's hard to find an honest, trustworthy mechanic that doesn't want to overcharge for something that wasn't needed to begin with. these guys know their stuff and explain things very well along the way. like other reviewers, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars... I've had more than one incident where they didn't even charge me for the service (my hood wouldn't open, no matter what I tried. not only did they fix that problem, they didn't charge me for it). thanks, dudes!!! I can't say enough about how amazingly legit these guys are...."
