Dollar Tree

"Very well stocked and clean! I was there on Saturday, January 20 around 11:30am; and the store was very clean, organized, and stocked (see pictures). I got what I needed. There were two people working: one at the cashier and the other was mopping. I really liked that they have two self-check out now; it’s so convenient! I can see there’s a difference between going there on weekdays and weekends. I know in the past they posted that they needed help. I don’t think it’s their fault that people don’t want to work, so I do see they are trying to have the store well staff. Also, from my experience, I do see children and even adults not putting items back where they got it from. So to another person’s view, the store can be disorganized and messy. So to all the parents and adults out there that’s shopping (at any store), please put the items where you got it from. Overall, my experience with Dollar Tree has been good. I would definitely go there again. I would definitely go in the morning on the weekend where it’s less chaotic. They have awesome and beautiful greeting cards and great selection of storage bins."

"I've found lots of useful things here for decent prices over the years. However, the customer service isn't always the greatest and they seem to be in a perpetual state of needing more people and maybe a more effective approach to management."

"I was a customer @ the Dollar Tree @ 2279 N. Park Street, Holland Michigan. I saw a lot of very fun- things for summer. I bought a bunch of things, I usually buy plus some summer things. It was Friday afternoon June 9 @ 1pm. One employee was making up a bunch of balloons and so that left one cashier. I was the 5 customer in line with many others behind me. Not enough help. My cashier had no tag, but my receipt said Mike. Mike had one speed very slow, one look that was pure unwelcoming, he never said one word to me until-I took a loose bag laying on the counter, and he said "You! just took a bag" I said "yep I did" he said "we are low on bags" I said "then you guys better order more bags" He said "more bags are coming but not until Monday" I said "I'm splitting my order and I need an extra bag" He was so mad and tried to be so intimidating over a bag. My suggesting is to get self-scanners because you can't get people to work for your store that are actually nice and pleasant employees."

"This is the only good Dollar Tree in town, but the staff is consistently awful. I tried to make pleasant small talk with Mike, the old bald man, and not only did he greet all the elderly guests with a chipper “hello!” and didn’t greet me (a 26 year old woman) at all, but he also COMPLETELY IGNORED ME while I was speaking directly to him. What a jerk. The other cashier lady was really rude to another customer, too. I wish the other stores had the stock this one does, or that this one would at least fire the old people who work here & hire some younger, kinder employees because this is clearly age discrimination."

"I really like this dollar tree. I buy cleaning products and organizational things there. Though, the store and the management need to step up and hire more people. Every time I go there is like one employee and they always seem like they hate their lives. I see the same like 3 people there just being recycled on all the shifts and otherwise there seems to be high staff turnover and it's ridiculous. You can tell these people aren't being treated well. Do better as a company. It's always messy and disorganized. You can tell these people don't get paid enough. Do better."
