"This can be a fun store to just browse randomly but if you come looking for something specific you may end up being disappointed. They stock primarily things that aren't selling elsewhere and usually there's a pretty good reason why, like poor quality or a failure of design in the product itself. You may however find something that really works for you and it's always going to be a good price."

"I like that everything is inexpensive, but the girl who rang me up..yeah. she was called over to ring me up..she wasn't in a hurry, never said a word to me as if she was mortified she actually had to work. My receipt said her name was Rose. Young, and has no clue about customer service."

"It use to be such a good deal. Now stuff costs what it does most places for the most part. And they keep candy way way way too long for way way too much. Who wants Halloween and Christmas candy at Ollie's for close to full price when normal stores mark this stuff way down the day after. It's nearly a year old and they want full price or discounted it maybe maybe 15-20 percent. I use to love Ollie's. Now I don't bother myself with it. It's usually not a good deal anymore on food or stuff. Just another Walmart with Walmart prices or higher. Who took over this place shouldn't be CEO. I don't even go anymore. I get a coupon and walk around and often think "even with the coupon its still not a deal" and walk out."

"I go to Ollie's to pick up canvasses to paint. They have excellent prices on them, so I usually pick up quite a few."

"Place is great for cheap stuff you can't find elsewhere, but you have to know your prices otherwise you WILL pay more. There is always the stench of pot outside and inside the store."
